The capital of Thailand, Bangkok, has the title of the city with the longest name in the world. His full name is "Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit". Also known as "Krung Thep" for short, but his full name is officially recognized.
